The Moody Family

CO-OWNER

Jacob Moody

Jake was born and raised in Wells, ME. He started working at Ogunquit Farm RV Park full-time in 2014 while attending the University of Southern Maine and graduated with a degree in business management with a minor in entrepreneurship. After graduation, Jake spent two winters during the resort’s off-season working for Molly Trolly where he worked as a fabricator and aluminum welder constructing trollys from the chassis up. Once the pandemic started, Jake began working carpentry jobs during the off-season and decided to start a multi-year project of milling all of his own lumber to build their dream home. Today, Jake loves creating memories with family, enjoys spending time outdoors, landscaping, and traveling.

CO-OWNER

Betsy Moody

Betsy was born and raised in Wells, ME. She attended Emmanuel College in Boston, MA and graduated with a degree in business management with a concentration in marketing. Post college, Betsy began her career as a freelance social media marketer, providing services for small woman-owned, woman-operated businesses. When the pandemic hit, Betsy had to pivot and began working for a title company in Portsmouth, NH. With a strong desire to start a new venture with Jake who had been working with his father at the campground for years, the two were excited when given the opportunity to become the next generation of Moodys to run Ogunquit Farm RV Resort. Today, Betsy enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, loves to bake for others, and dabbles in photography.
